Pillow ball shims let you fine-tune suspension geometry on Associated 1/8 scale off-road cars by adjusting the position of the pillow balls in the steering blocks and suspension arms. Small changes in shim stack translate into meaningful differences in caster, camber link angle and free play, so a well-stocked shim assortment is one of the cheapest tuning tools in the pit box. This package includes one pair each of three different thicknesses, giving you multiple stack combinations without buying separate packs.

Shims are also direct replacements for pieces lost during teardown, which happens easily on a workbench. Add them to your spares kit alongside pillow balls and hinge pins so a full front-end rebuild can be completed at the track.
