Description
This suspension arm endcap is the replacement retaining cap for the suspension arms on Team Associated's RC8 series 1:8 scale off-road buggies and trucks. It closes the outer end of the arm and captures the hinge pin, keeping the pin located and the arm and hub assembly correctly aligned as the suspension cycles. Endcaps take direct hits from ruts, pipes, and other cars, so a cracked or distorted cap can let a hinge pin walk and change your suspension geometry mid-run.
Fitment is broad across the RC8 line, covering the RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3, RC8T3e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO, RC8B4.2e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8T4.2, and RC8T4.2e.
Installation is in the front or rear suspension arm assembly using the original screws, making this an exact replacement for the stock part with no setup changes. Keep a spare set in the pit box for quick between-heat repairs.
