Description
This upper link mount sets the 16-degree kingpin inclination geometry on Team Associated's RC8 series 1:8 scale off-road buggies and trucks. It mounts to the steering block assembly and locates the upper camber link, controlling how camber changes through suspension travel and how the front end loads on corner entry. The 16-degree KPI specification changes steering feel compared with lower KPI options, giving a different balance of on-power steering and mid-corner stability that racers select to suit track grip.
Fitment covers the RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3, RC8T3e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, RC8T4.2, and RC8T4.2e, installing in the front suspension assembly.
Use it as a direct replacement for a mount damaged in a crash, or as a geometry option to move your car to the 16-degree KPI setting. Install it with the original hardware and set camber link position to match your setup sheet.
