Description
The Team Associated ASC81012 17 mm differential outdrive is the hardened drive cup that mounts in the differential and takes the axle or driveshaft end. Every bit of engine or motor torque passes through this part, and the pin contact surfaces wear over time.
Worn outdrives show up as driveline slop, a click under acceleration, and inconsistent power delivery, and if left alone the wear moves on to the driveshafts and diff housing, which cost a lot more to replace. Swapping in fresh outdrives is one of the cheapest ways to tighten up a drivetrain that has gone sloppy after a season of running. This is the 17 mm length, so confirm which size your differential takes before ordering.
