Description
The RC8T4.2 Team Kit is Team Associated's 1:8 scale nitro off-road truck, the latest step in the RC8 series and supplied unassembled for racers who build their own setup. Molded height-adjustable gearboxes front and rear allow ride height changes without new chassis hardware, while updated shock towers and new molded suspension arms widen the geometry tuning range.
A 16-degree KPI steering block sharpens corner entry, and a new rear anti-roll bar helps control body roll under power. The -4mm chassis with improved bracing changes flex characteristics for better traction on rough tracks, and a high-volume center differential plus high-downforce wing add drive and stability at speed. Factory Team hard-anodized aluminum shock bushings and updated brake materials improve durability where the truck works hardest.
The kit includes 40/9 ring and pinion gears, 131mm universal driveshafts, both 19mm and 20mm differential gear sets, shock seals, and Factory Team hexes with grooved pins. Assembly and painting are required; engine, radio gear, servos, wheels, and tires are purchased separately.
