Description
The RC8B4.1 Ongaro Edition Kit is a limited team build of Team Associated's 1:8 scale nitro off-road buggy, specified to match Davide Ongaro's championship-winning setup. It is built around the RC8B4.1 FWB chassis, whose tapered profile increases stiffness and shifts weight forward for front-end grip.
Suspension work includes lightweight 16mm front and rear shock bodies plus new three-hole rear arms with updated geometry, giving a wide tuning window across camber link and shock positions. Aluminum front upper arm mounts and carbon fiber components round out the chassis package, and new gearbox designs improve drivetrain efficiency. The kit adds Ongaro-specific parts, including his chassis weight, shock caps, and fuel tank guard, so you can duplicate his layout out of the box. An unpainted JConcepts body and wing are included.
Assembly is required, and the kit does not include an engine, servo, power switch, wheels, or tires. Choose this edition if you want the RC8B4.1 platform in its factory-driver specification rather than assembling the same combination from individual option parts.
