Description
The Team Associated ASC80950 RC8B4.1e Team Kit is the electric 1/8 scale off road buggy kit built on the RC8B4.1 platform. Its defining feature is an adjustable weight bias chassis that lets you run the motor in either a rear or forward position, so you can tune rear grip against steering to suit the track instead of living with one fixed layout. The chassis is lighter with a lower center of gravity, aimed at ungroomed outdoor surfaces.
Suspension uses new low CG aluminum shock towers, shorter 16 mm shock bodies, six hole machined pistons with emulsion caps, three hole rear arms, and wide base rear hubs with three fixed axle heights on 3 mm carbon fiber towers. Drivetrain is 92 mm universals on 17 mm outdrives, a 13/44 ring and pinion set, and a 46T molded spur gear chosen for grip and smooth power delivery outdoors.
Soft blend arms improve cold weather durability. It measures 486 mm long by 304.5 mm wide with a 3.38:1 internal ratio, and needs your own motor, ESC, radio, and servo.
