Description
The Team Associated ASC80949 RC8B4.1 Team Kit is the next evolution of the RC8B4 that won the 2022 IFMAR World Championship. The headline change is a stiffer tapered RWB chassis that lowers the center of gravity and cuts weight, aimed squarely at ungroomed outdoor tracks where the surface is rough and inconsistent.
Suspension is reworked around new low CG aluminum shock towers with shorter 16 mm shocks, three hole rear arms with updated anti roll bar geometry, and wide base rear hubs offering three fixed axle heights on 3 mm carbon fiber towers, which gives you real geometry options rather than one fixed setup. Drivetrain is 92 mm universal driveshafts on 17 mm outdrives, a 44/13 ring and pinion set, and a 47T machined spur gear.
It also adds soft blend suspension arms and new plus one aluminum steering block arms for sharper steering response. This is a nitro kit, so you supply engine, radio, servos, and pipe. Genuine Team Associated kit with full factory spare parts support.
