Description
These are M4 x 4mm set screws, short headless fasteners that thread into a hub or collar and press against a shaft to lock rotating components in place, such as wheel hexes, pulleys, or spool assemblies. Because they sit flush inside the part rather than protruding, set screws secure components without adding bulk or catching on nearby hardware, and a properly torqued set screw prevents slipping under the torque loads of racing. These screws are made from hardened steel with a hex drive for a secure, strip-resistant grip during installation and removal. They fit a wide range of Team Associated platforms, including the RC8B3 and RC8B4 buggy families, RC8T3 and RC8T4 truggy families, the ProSC 4x4, ProRally, ProLite 4x4, NTC3, SC10GT, SR7, Rival Monster Truck, and the APEX touring car line. As a direct replacement for stripped, loosened, or lost factory set screws, they restore secure locking on driveline and wheel components. Installation uses a hex driver to thread the screw into the existing tapped hole until snug against the shaft.
