Description
The Team Associated ASC7657 rear shock mounts are the nylon mounts that locate the upper ends of the rear shocks on the RC10GT. They set shock angle and mounting position, which together determine how much of the suspension's movement the shock actually sees and how progressive the rear end feels through its travel.
Shock mounts live in an exposed spot and take load every time the truck lands. Nylon absorbs a good deal of that impact, but repeated stress eventually elongates the mounting holes or cracks the part, and a mount that moves under load makes the rear damping feel inconsistent from corner to corner even with a freshly built shock.
At this price they are worth replacing at the first sign of wear rather than chasing a handling problem elsewhere in the setup. These are direct factory replacements built to the original specification, so they fit the stock RC10GT shock tower positions using your existing hardware with no modification required.
