Description
The Team Associated ASC7430 front shock springs are rated at 3.90 lb/in and are designed for the front shocks of the SC10, SC10B, SC10GT, RC10T4.1 and RC10T3. At this rate they sit a step firmer than the softer options in the range, which helps control front-end dive under braking, keeps the chassis from bottoming out on big landings and gives a more immediate steering response as the truck enters a corner.
Front spring rate works together with shock oil weight and ride height to determine how the truck loads its front tires, so having the right rate fitted matters as much as any other setup change you make. On higher-grip or rougher surfaces a firmer front spring often makes the truck easier to drive quickly.
These springs are made to the original factory specification and drop straight onto the stock front shock bodies with your existing collars and cups, no modification required. Buy them as a straight replacement for tired springs or as an addition to your tuning selection.
