Description
These Team Associated rear axle shims measure 3/16 x .010 inch and are used to set endplay and axle position in the rear driveline. Fitted over the axle, they take up unwanted free movement so the drivetrain runs true, and they can be added or removed to fine-tune spacing during a rebuild.
They fit MIP CVDs and 3/16 inch axles and are a direct replacement for the shims supplied with the vehicle. Applications include the RC10B3, RC10B4.1 and RC10B4.2 buggies, the B44, RC10B44.1, RC10B44.2 and B44.3, the RC10T3, RC10T4.1, RC10T4.2 and RC10T4.3 trucks, the TC3, the RC10R5 Oval car, and the SC10, SC10B, SC10GT, SC10.2 and SC10.3 short course trucks.
Correct shimming reduces binding and uneven wear through the drive line. Check endplay whenever the rear axles are removed for service and adjust the shim stack so that the axle turns freely without perceptible side-to-side movement.
