Description
This complete gearbox assembly is built for the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car, housing the internal gears, bearings, and diff components that transmit power from the motor to the driveshafts. As the central drivetrain housing, the gearbox has to hold precise gear mesh and bearing alignment through the repeated torque loading and impacts that come with drift driving, and any cracking or warping in the housing leads directly to slop, binding, or gear noise. Molded from a durable composite engineered to resist the stress of hard hits and constant use, this gearbox provides a sturdy foundation for the internal drivetrain components and keeps the diff and gear mesh properly aligned. It is a direct replacement for the factory gearbox housing, accepting the same internal gears, diff, and hardware from your existing setup so a swap does not require sourcing new internals. This part is the right fix for a gearbox that has cracked from a collision or worn out from heavy use, restoring solid drivetrain alignment. One gearbox housing is included.
