Description
This steel spur gear hub is a replacement drivetrain component for the Team Associated DC10 Classic and DC10 Drift Car. The hub mounts the spur gear to the driveshaft, transferring power from the motor and pinion through the gearbox and out to the wheels, so its condition directly affects how efficiently power reaches the ground. Machined from steel instead of the lighter alloys used elsewhere on the car, the hub is built to handle the torque loads and repeated gear mesh stress of drift driving without stripping splines or wearing oval over time, giving it a longer service life than a softer hub would have. It is a direct replacement for the factory spur gear hub, installing in the same location in the gearbox assembly with the factory spur gear and hardware. Upgrading to this steel version is a good option for drivers who have worn out a stock hub or who run higher-power setups that put extra strain on the drivetrain. One hub is included per package.
