Description
This set covers the shock collars, bottom caps, and cap retainers used to assemble the shocks on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car and DC10 Classic, providing the hardware that holds each shock together at the lower end and secures the spring's bottom perch. Sold as a pack of two of each piece, the collars set spring preload position along the shock body while the bottom caps seal the shock body and anchor the shaft's lower travel limit, with the cap retainers locking that assembly firmly in place so it does not loosen under the repeated compression cycles a drift car's suspension sees. Consistent preload and a properly sealed bottom cap are both important for predictable damping, since a loose collar changes ride height unexpectedly and a leaking cap lets oil escape and air enter the shock. Replacing worn or damaged pieces from this set restores a tight, properly sealed shock assembly. These are direct factory replacements matching the original DC10 shock dimensions and thread pattern, so they install using the existing shock body and spring without modification.
