Description
DC10 Shock Bodies form the outer cylinder of the shock absorber on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car, housing the piston, shaft, oil, and bladder that together control how the suspension compresses and rebounds through every slide and weight transfer. Sold as a pack of two, they are precision molded to hold a smooth, consistent bore so the piston travels freely without binding while still sealing tightly enough to prevent oil leaks under the constant loading drift driving puts on the suspension. Because the shock body sets the working diameter for the entire shock assembly, any wear, scoring, or cracking here leads directly to inconsistent damping, oil leaks, or a shock that no longer holds its rebuild settings between runs. Replacing a damaged body restores accurate shock performance without needing to replace the piston, shaft, or other internal components separately. This is a direct factory replacement matching the original DC10 shock dimensions, so all existing internal parts and shock caps thread on and fit without modification. Keeping a spare body on hand is useful after impact damage or once a shock no longer holds oil properly during a rebuild.
