Description
DC10 Shock Bladders sit inside the shock cap on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car and DC10 Classic, separating the shock oil from the air pocket above it so the shock can compress smoothly without the oil aerating or foaming under repeated hard hits. Sold as a pack of four, they are molded from a flexible rubber compound that expands and contracts with shock oil volume as the shaft moves in and out, maintaining consistent internal pressure and damping feel from the start of a run through the end. Because a drift car's shocks work constantly through rapid weight transfer during slides and corrections, a torn or hardened bladder lets air mix with the oil, causing inconsistent, spongy damping and a shock that feels different from one corner to the next. Replacing worn bladders restores accurate, repeatable shock action and is one of the simplest ways to keep suspension performance consistent. These are a direct factory replacement matching the original DC10 shock cap dimensions, so they install without any modification. As a routine wear item, keeping a spare set on hand simplifies regular shock maintenance and rebuilds.
