DC10 Shock Shafts, sized 3x26mm, are the precision shock rods that slide through the piston and shock body on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car and DC10 Classic, translating suspension movement into the damping force that controls how the chassis settles and transfers weight. Sold as a pack of two, they are machined to a tight tolerance and finished smooth so the shaft seals stay leak-free and the piston moves without binding through its full stroke, keeping damping consistent from the first run of the day to the last. Because a drift car relies on predictable weight transfer to control how and when the rear end steps out, a bent, pitted, or scored shaft causes inconsistent damping, oil leaks, and unpredictable handling exactly when consistency matters most. Replacing a damaged shaft restores smooth shock action and stops further wear on the shaft seals and piston. This is a direct factory replacement matching the original 3x26mm dimensions used across the DC10 shock package, so it installs into the existing shock body without any modification. Keeping spares on hand is practical since bent shafts are a common result of hard impacts.
