DC10 Aluminum Spring Cups sit at the top and bottom of each shock spring on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car, locating the spring against the shock body and shock shaft so preload and spring seating stay consistent run after run. Sold as a pack of two, they are machined from aluminum rather than molded plastic, giving them a hard, precise seating surface that resists the wear, cracking, and gradual rounding a plastic cup develops from constant spring compression and rebound during drift driving. That added durability keeps spring preload accurate over time, which matters on a drift car because even small changes in ride height or spring seating alter how the chassis transfers weight and how predictably it breaks traction. The cups are machined to the original dimensions of the DC10 shock package, so they install directly onto the stock shock shaft and body without any modification to the shock assembly. This is an upgrade over the stock plastic cups rather than a simple like-for-like replacement, aimed at drivers who want a more durable, consistent spring perch for regular hard use or competition driving.
