DC10 Gear Diff Outdrives transfer power from the gear differential to the rear axles on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car, forming the link between the diff case and the CVA driveshafts that ultimately turn the rear wheels. Sold as a pack of two, they are molded to hold precise engagement with both the differential gear and the driveshaft cup, so power transfer stays smooth and consistent through the constant wheelspin and throttle modulation drift driving requires. Worn outdrives develop play or rounded engagement points that let power delivery become inconsistent, showing up as clunking, slop, or a delayed feel between throttle input and rear wheel response, which makes it harder to hold a controlled slide. Replacing them restores a tight, direct connection between the differential and the axles, keeping torque delivery predictable when a driver is modulating throttle to maintain drift angle. This is a direct factory replacement matching the original fit inside the gearbox case, requiring no changes to the differential assembly or axle length. Because outdrives see constant torque cycling, they are a wear item worth keeping in stock for regular maintenance.
