The DC10 Motor Mount secures the motor to the chassis on the Team Associated DC10 Drift Car and DC10 Classic, holding precise gear mesh between the pinion and spur gear so power reaches the rear wheels smoothly and consistently. Molded from a rigid composite, it is designed to resist the vibration, heat, and repeated load cycles that come from sustained wheelspin and quick throttle inputs during drift runs, keeping the motor securely aligned instead of allowing it to shift under load. Because the DC10 platform supports both high and low motor mounting positions for different weight balance setups, this mount is built to hold that position firmly through hard use rather than loosening over time. A worn or cracked mount lets gear mesh drift out of spec, causing gear noise, stripped teeth, and inconsistent power delivery exactly when a driver needs predictable throttle response to hold a slide. This is a direct factory replacement matching the original mounting hardware and motor position, so it installs without modification. Keeping a spare on hand is worthwhile after any hard impact or once mesh adjustment no longer holds.
