The Team Associated ASC72081 DR10M Chassis is the main composite chassis plate for the DR10M drag racing platform, forming the structural backbone that every suspension arm, driveline component, and body mount attaches to. Molded from a stiff yet impact-resistant composite, it is engineered to handle the violent weight transfer and repeated hard launches drag racing puts through a chassis without flexing excessively or cracking around mounting points. This chassis replicates the factory geometry exactly, so all existing DR10M hardware, arm mounts, and driveline components bolt straight on without modification. It functions as a direct replacement for a cracked, warped, or otherwise damaged chassis after a hard crash, letting racers rebuild around a fresh, true platform rather than fighting a bent original. Because chassis flex and geometry directly affect launch consistency and traction, a straight, undamaged chassis is foundational to getting the DR10M to hook up predictably. This is a core structural part, not a cosmetic piece, and is essential for anyone restoring a damaged car or building up a dedicated race chassis.
