Description
The Team Associated ASC7188 bumper set provides the factory impact protection for the ProRally chassis. Bumpers are the first thing to meet a wall, a marker pipe or another car, and their job is to spread that impact across the chassis rather than letting it travel straight into the suspension arms, shock towers and drivetrain behind them.
Rally cars see a lot of contact, and a bumper that has already been cracked or deformed will not absorb the next hit properly. Once the mounting tabs start to tear, the bumper moves under load and stops doing its job entirely, leaving more expensive parts exposed.
Fitting a fresh set restores full protection and returns the car to its intended shape and stiffness. This is a direct factory replacement molded to the original specification, so it mounts in the stock locations using your existing screws with no trimming or modification. It is an inexpensive spare that prevents far costlier repairs later.
