This socket head cap screw is a genuine Team Associated hardware component sized M2x8mm, used in smaller assemblies such as servo mounts, electronics trays, and body posts across the ProRally platform, the RC10F6 and RC12R6 on-road chassis, the CR12 rock crawler, the Enduro trail truck family, the Apex2 touring and sport chassis lineup, the MT12 monster truck and monster van, and the RC10 4x4 rally, pickup, and American custom semi-truck models. Machined from hardened steel, the hex socket drive allows for firm, controlled torque on smaller fasteners without rounding out the head, which matters on the finer threads used in electronics and steering assemblies. As a direct replacement for a lost, stripped, or corroded factory screw, it restores secure mounting to components that rely on this small fastener size, preventing rattling or misalignment during operation. Because this screw size shows up across such a wide range of current Team Associated on-road, off-road, and scale platforms, it is a practical size to keep stocked for general maintenance. It installs with a standard 1.5mm hex driver and is intended as factory-spec replacement hardware rather than a performance upgrade.
