Description
The Team Associated ASC7140 set includes the steering blocks and caster blocks used at the front end of the ProLite 4x4, ProSC 4x4, ProRally and APEX touring platforms. The caster block sets the front suspension geometry and carries the steering block, which in turn holds the front axle and bearings and provides the arm that the steering link pulls on.
These two parts do most of the work at the front of the car. They take the direct hit in any front-end impact, they absorb the load every time the truck lands nose-first, and they set kingpin and caster angle, which shape how the car turns in and how much steering it carries through the middle of a corner.
Cracked or elongated blocks introduce play that no amount of setup work will tune out. This factory replacement set fits the stock mounting positions with your existing hinge pins, bearings and hardware, restoring precise front-end geometry with no modification.
