Description
The Team Associated ASC7127 driveshaft is a factory replacement for the ProLite 4x4, ProSC 4x4 and ProRally drivetrain. The driveshaft transfers power from the transmission out to the wheel while allowing the suspension to move through its full range of travel and the wheels to steer, so it is under load every moment the truck is running.
Driveshafts are a wear item. The pin, bone and axle interface see constant articulation and impact, and once wear opens up the joint you get slop in the driveline, a knocking feel on throttle and, eventually, a shaft that pops out mid-run. A worn or twisted shaft also puts stress back into the differential and gearbox.
Fitting a fresh driveshaft restores clean, quiet power delivery and predictable handling on corner exit. This is a direct replacement built to the original specification, so it installs in the stock location with your existing hardware and needs no modification or matched parts.
