Description
The Team Associated ASC71232 rear bumper set mounts at the back of the RC10SC7 Team short course truck, behind the transmission and rear arm mounts. It absorbs rear impacts from other trucks, track barriers, and backward landings, spreading that load into the chassis instead of driving it into the gearbox case and rear suspension components.
The rear bumper also helps the truck slide off obstacles rather than catching and flipping, and it protects the back of the chassis when the truck lands short or backs into a pipe. Because it is designed to deform and take the hit, it cracks and wears out over time by design rather than by defect.
This set is a direct replacement for the rear bumper components supplied in the RC10SC7 Team kit and installs in the original mounting locations with the stock hardware, requiring no modification. Fitting a fresh bumper restores the protection the chassis was engineered to have and costs far less than replacing a cracked gearbox case or a bent chassis plate. Mounting hardware is not included.
