Description
The Team Associated ASC71231 set includes the front bumper and the side nerf bars for the RC10SC7 Team short course truck. The bumper mounts at the front of the chassis to absorb head on impacts, while the nerf bars run along each side between the front and rear wheels, filling the gap where another truck's wheels would otherwise reach the chassis.
Nerf bars are a defining feature of short course racing. In close quarters they stop another truck's tire from climbing over yours and flipping you, and they spread side impacts across the chassis instead of concentrating them into a suspension arm or hub carrier.
These are direct replacements for the bumper and nerf bars supplied in the RC10SC7 Team kit and bolt into the original mounting locations with the stock hardware. Both parts are designed to be sacrificial, taking damage so that the chassis and suspension do not, which makes them regular replacement items for anyone racing wheel to wheel week after week. Mounting hardware and chassis components are not included.
