Description
The Team Associated ASC71230 body mount set includes the mounts that hold the body in position on the RC10SC7 Team short course truck. Short course bodies are large and catch a great deal of air and impact, so the mounts carry real load, locating the shell over the chassis and keeping it from shifting around during racing.
Correctly located body mounts keep the body sitting square and at the right ride height, which matters both for appearance and for how the body clears the tires at full suspension compression. Loose or broken mounts let the shell move, rub on the tires, and tear out its own mounting holes.
This set is a direct replacement for the body mounts supplied in the RC10SC7 Team kit and installs in the original chassis and shock tower locations using the stock hardware. Body mounts are a common breakage point in rollovers and multi truck contact, so keeping a spare set on hand avoids taping a body down just to finish out the day. The body, body clips, and mounting hardware are not included.
