Description
The Team Associated ASC71226 chassis is the main chassis plate for the RC10SC7 Team short course truck. Every other component on the truck mounts to it, including the front and rear arm mounts, the transmission, the electronics, the battery, and the chassis side rails, so it defines both the geometry and the torsional stiffness of the entire vehicle.
Chassis flex has a direct effect on how a short course truck handles, and a bent or tweaked chassis will make the truck turn differently in each direction no matter how carefully the suspension is set. Starting a rebuild with a true, undamaged chassis is the only way to trust a setup sheet.
This plate is a direct replacement for the chassis supplied in the RC10SC7 Team kit, with all mounting holes, battery locations, and countersinks already machined so the original hardware and components transfer straight across. It is the part to buy after a hard season, a major crash, or when building a second truck out of spare parts. Hardware, electronics, and drivetrain components are not included.
