Description
The Team Associated ASC71218 arm mount C is the aluminum rear inner suspension mount used with the three gear gearbox on the RC10T7 stadium truck and the RC10SC7 Team short course truck. It bolts to the chassis and gearbox and carries the rear hinge pins, setting the rear anti squat and toe in values that determine how the truck puts power down.
Machined from aluminum rather than molded in composite, the mount adds rigidity at a critical point in the rear end, holding hinge pin alignment under load so the suspension geometry you set stays where you set it. The added weight low and toward the rear of the chassis can also help rear traction on loose or slick surfaces.
This mount is designed for the three gear gearbox configuration and replaces the standard C block in that assembly, installing in the original location. Rear arm mounts absorb heavy abuse from landings and rear impacts, and a tweaked mount makes a truck handle differently left to right, so fitting an undamaged unit restores consistent handling. Hinge pins, inserts, and hardware are not included.
