Description
This is a complete 3-gear transmission housing assembly for the Team Associated RC10B7 platform, fitting the RC10B7, RC10B7.1, RC10B7.1D, and RC10B7D buggies along with the RC10SC7 Team short course truck and RC10T7 Team stadium truck, which share the same rear driveline layout. The gearbox houses the spur gear, idler gear, and pinion gear along with the internal differential, forming the core of the rear transmission that transfers motor power to the rear wheels and, on shaft-drive setups, forward to the front differential. Molded from durable composite material, the housing is engineered to hold gear mesh alignment under heavy torque loads and repeated impacts, helping to prevent gear stripping and housing flex that can occur with a worn or cracked case. Replacing a cracked or worn gearbox restores proper gear spacing and mesh, which reduces drivetrain noise, binding, and premature gear wear. This is a direct replacement for the factory 3-gear transmission case, accepting the same internal gears, bearings, and diff components with no other modification needed for installation.
