Description
The Team Associated ASC71208 rear shock tower is the carbon fiber mounting plate that anchors the rear shocks to the transmission and gearbox assembly on the RC10T7 stadium truck. It carries the upper shock mounting positions along with the rear body mount and camber link locations, so it sets the geometry that controls how the rear suspension reacts to jumps, ruts, and hard landings.
Machined from carbon fiber, the tower is light and stiff, holding shock angles consistent under load instead of flexing and letting the rear end wander. Multiple upper shock holes let you move the shocks in or out to change how progressive the rear suspension feels for the track you are running.
This is a direct replacement for the shock tower supplied in the RC10T7 Team kit and it also fits the RC10SC7 Team short course truck, which shares the same rear assembly. Shock towers take the brunt of a bad landing or a collision, so keeping a spare in the pit box saves a race day. Shocks, body mounts, and hardware are not included.
