Description
The Team Associated ASC71207 Front Shock Tower is the carbon fiber front tower for the RC10T7 Team stadium truck. The tower carries the upper mounting points for both front shocks and locates the front camber links, so it determines the shock angle, the leverage the suspension applies to the shocks, and the camber curve the front wheels follow as the suspension travels.
It is made from carbon fiber, a material chosen for its high stiffness and low weight. A stiff tower holds the suspension geometry consistent under hard cornering loads and heavy landings rather than flexing and letting the shock positions move, which keeps the truck's handling predictable through a run.
Multiple upper shock and camber link positions allow roll center and shock angle to be adjusted as the track changes through the day. This tower fits the RC10T7 Team and mounts in the standard front tower location using existing hardware, so it is a direct replacement for the tower supplied in the kit and a sensible spare given how much impact the front of a truck absorbs.
