Description
The Team Associated ASC71201 Side Rails are the replacement chassis side rails for the RC10T7 Team stadium truck. The rails run along both edges of the chassis plate and locate the battery and electronics in the center of the truck, holding them in place against cornering loads and jump landings. They also stiffen the chassis and protect the edges of the plate from rocks, pipe, and other track debris.
Because the rails tie into the chassis along their full length, they have a direct effect on how much the plate flexes, and chassis flex in turn influences how the truck puts power down on a low-grip surface and how it absorbs an awkward landing.
These rails fit the RC10T7 Team and mount in the standard positions using the existing chassis screws, making them a direct replacement for the parts supplied in the kit. Side rails take repeated hits during a race weekend, so a cracked or bent rail should be replaced to keep battery fitment secure and chassis stiffness where the setup expects it.
