Description
This foam battery spacer, 6mm thick, fits the battery tray on the Team Associated RB10, RB10 Retro, SR10, and SR10M Dirt Oval short course platforms, filling the gap between a shorter battery pack and the tray wall so the pack sits snug without shifting during hard cornering. Cut from closed-cell foam, the spacer compresses slightly to take up clearance while still allowing the battery strap or hold-down to clamp everything firmly in place. Without adequate padding, a battery pack can shift or rattle inside the tray as the car changes direction, which affects weight distribution and can stress the battery leads or connector over repeated hits. Adding this spacer keeps the pack centered and stable, preserving consistent handling balance from run to run regardless of which battery size is installed. This is a direct-fit factory accessory sized to the stock RB10 and SR10 battery tray dimensions, not a performance upgrade, and it simply drops into the existing tray alongside the battery pack without any modification to the chassis or hold-down hardware.
