Description
This is the front foam bumper for the Team Associated SR10 platform, fitting both the SR10 and the SR10M Dirt Oval. Mounted to the front of the chassis ahead of the suspension and steering components, the foam bumper absorbs impact energy during oval racing's close-quarters, contact-heavy competition, helping protect the front chassis, steering linkage, and body from damage during light bumps and wall contact. Foam construction is intentionally softer and more compliant than a rigid plastic or composite bumper, letting it deform and absorb a hit rather than transferring that impact directly into the chassis or suspension mounts. One bumper is included per package, and it installs using the car's factory front bumper mounting points, so no other parts or hardware changes are needed. This part functions as a direct replacement for a torn, compressed, or missing factory bumper, restoring the car's designed impact protection at the front end. Because oval racing regularly involves incidental contact between cars, this foam bumper is a practical wear-item spare for racers running either the SR10 or the SR10M Dirt Oval platform, worth keeping on hand alongside other routine maintenance parts.
