Description
This is an angled front top plate and ballstud mount for the Team Associated RC10B6.4 platform, fitting the RC10B6.4D buggy as well as the RC10SC6.4 short course truck and RC10T6.4 stadium truck, which share the same front chassis and shock tower layout. The top plate ties the front bulkhead and shock tower together while its integrated ballstud mounts provide anchor points for the front shocks and camber links, so its rigidity and angle directly influence front-end stiffness and shock geometry. Molded from a durable composite material, this angled version is designed to resist the flexing and cracking that a worn or impact-damaged top plate can develop under hard landings and collisions, helping keep the front chassis structure solid. A cracked or flexing top plate can allow the shock towers to shift under load, changing shock angle and front-end feel mid-run, so replacing it restores consistent, predictable handling. This part functions as a direct-fit replacement for the factory front top plate, installing with the existing bulkhead screws, shock mounting hardware, and ballstuds with no other modification required.
