Description
The Team Associated ASC71175 Chassis is the main chassis plate for the RC10SC6.4 short course truck. It is the foundation the whole vehicle is built on, carrying the front and rear suspension arm mounts, the transmission, motor and electronics, battery, side rails, bumper, and body mounts. Its mounting holes fix the wheelbase and the suspension reference points that every other setup change works from.
The plate is drilled and countersunk for the standard RC10SC6.4 component layout, so parts transfer straight across from your existing truck with no modification needed during the rebuild, and the battery and electronics sit in their designed positions for correct weight distribution.
This chassis fits the RC10SC6.4 and is a direct replacement for the plate supplied in the kit. Short course trucks take heavy door-to-door contact and hard landings, and a chassis that has been tweaked or worn thin will change how the truck corners and how predictably it lands, so a fresh plate restores the original handling.
