Description
The Team Associated ASC71158 13x36mm Shock Bodies allow you to upgrade RC10T6.2 and RC10SC6.2 models to 13mm shocks. The shock body is the outer cylinder that holds the oil and guides the piston, and moving to a larger bore changes how the damping builds as shaft speed increases.
The larger 13mm-bore piston allows you to run lighter oils to get the low-speed feeling of a soft shock, but with more pack as you take off and land jumps. That combination gives the suspension compliance over small bumps and ruts while still resisting bottoming out on big landings, which is the balance most stadium truck and short course drivers are chasing on a rough track.
These bodies fit the RC10T6.2, RC10SC6.2, RC10T6.4, and RC10SC6.4. On the 6.2 trucks they are a performance upgrade over the smaller bore shocks, and on the 6.4 trucks they serve as a direct replacement for a scored, dented, or leaking shock body.
