Description
The Team Associated ASC71047 Servo Saver protects the steering servo from shock loads transmitted through the front wheels during hard impacts, curb strikes, and rough dirt oval or off-road running. A spring-loaded mechanism absorbs sudden steering shocks before they reach the servo's internal gears, reducing the chance of stripped gears or a damaged output shaft after a hard hit. The servo saver connects the steering linkage to the servo horn and is a wear item that should be replaced when it becomes loose or worn, restoring precise, slop-free steering response. This part is a direct replacement for the factory servo saver used across the DR10 drag chassis, the Pro2 lineup including the DK10SW, LT10SW, RT10SW, SC10, and SC10sw RTR, the ProSC 4x4 and ProSC10 short course trucks, RB10 and RB10 Retro, the SR10 and SR10M dirt oval cars, and the Trophy Rat. Keeping a spare on hand helps racers get back on track quickly after a hard crash without risking costlier servo damage.
