Description
These Team Associated socket head cap screws measure 4-40 x 5/8 inch and are used at chassis, suspension and component mounting points where a longer fastener is required. The socket head accepts a hex driver, which gives positive engagement and reduces the risk of rounding out the head during repeated assembly and disassembly.
They are direct replacements for the screws supplied in the kit and fit the RC10 Classic and RC10CC, the RC10B4.1 buggy, the RC10T4.1 truck, the RC10L3T, the TC3, and the SC10, SC10GT and SC10.3 short course trucks.
Because several of these are legacy RC10 Classic and reissue platforms, having correct-length hardware to hand makes a rebuild far more straightforward than substituting a screw of the wrong length. Damaged or stripped screws should be replaced rather than reused, as a fastener that will not torque correctly can allow a suspension or chassis component to work loose while running.
