This diff thrust spring from Team Associated works alongside the thrust washer to maintain consistent preload on a gear diff's output shaft, absorbing small amounts of movement so the diff stays smooth under load while still allowing the gears to mesh correctly. Manufactured to a consistent spring rate, it fits a wide range of Team Associated buggies and trucks including the RC10B6 and RC10B7 lines, RC10T stadium trucks, SC10 and Pro SC10 short course trucks, DR10 drag cars, RB10 buggies, SR10 dirt oval cars, and Trophy Rat, as well as many earlier RC10 2WD and 4WD models. As a direct replacement for a worn or fatigued factory spring, this part restores proper diff preload when a diff feels loose, noisy, or inconsistent under acceleration. A fresh thrust spring is a quick, inexpensive fix during a diff rebuild that keeps power delivery smooth and predictable through corner exits and straight-line acceleration.
