Description
The Team Associated RC10 Retro 80's Ultra Champ Kit (ASC6050) is a tribute to the buggy that started it all. Built on a genuine RC10 platform, this 1/10 scale 2WD electric off-road kit captures the look and feel of 1980s racing while using updated materials for better durability on today's tracks.
The rear end uses forged aluminum trailing arms on CNC machined mounts and aluminum mounting plates, giving the Ultra Champ the period-correct suspension and handling that made early RC10s legendary. Power runs through the sealed 3-gear Stealth A.T.C. transmission with a high-torque ball differential and hardened rear driveshafts. Gold anodized, fluid-filled long-travel coil-over shocks, fiberglass shock towers and threaded steel turnbuckles round out the chassis.
New molded front bumper and side guards add retro styling, and the white molded plastics can be dyed to customize your build. The kit includes a clear Protech body with cutout templates and decals, plus tires on 3-piece racing wheels. It accepts 6-cell NiMH and 2S LiPo packs, making it a great build for vintage racing classes, collectors, or anyone who wants to relive the golden era of RC.
