Description
The Team Associated ASC4752 Hinge Pins are the suspension pivot pins for the RC12R6 1/12-scale pan car. They pass through the arm bores and hold the suspension to its mounts, forming the axis the arms rotate on every time the car takes a bump, loads up in a corner, or lands off a jump face.
Hinge pins are a wear item by design. Dirt and carpet fuzz work into the bore, and over enough runs the pin picks up a groove or a slight bend that turns free suspension movement into a binding, inconsistent action. That is one of the most common causes of a car that feels dead over bumps or refuses to settle, and it is almost always cheaper to fix than the setup changes people try first.
These are direct replacements for the hinge pins supplied in the RC12R6 kit, dropping into the existing arms and mounts with no modification needed. Fitting fresh pins during a routine suspension service restores free, equal movement on both sides of the car.
