Description
The Team Associated ASC4741 Front Bulkhead is the main front end structure of the RC12R6 1/12-scale pan car. It bolts to the front of the chassis and carries the suspension mounting, the kingpins and steering blocks, and the front geometry adjustment points, making it the single component every front end setting is referenced from.
The bulkhead absorbs almost every front impact the car takes. A bulkhead that has been cracked, bent, or worn oversize at its mounting holes throws off caster, camber, and steering geometry, and the resulting handling problem is easy to blame on the wrong thing. If the car has stopped responding to front end adjustments the way it used to, an inspection of the bulkhead is the right place to start.
This is a direct replacement for the front bulkhead supplied in the RC12R6 kit, with the same mounting pattern and adjustment locations, so your existing hardware and steering components transfer straight across. Fitting a new bulkhead restores the front of the car to its designed geometry with no modification required.
