Description
The Team Associated ASC4732 Rear Hub Screws are the fasteners that secure the rear hub assembly on the RC12R6 1/12-scale pan car. They carry the load between the hubs and the rear pod, keeping the axle assembly clamped tight so the rear end stays square under acceleration, braking, and side load through a corner.
Hardware in this position is worked hard. Screws are removed and reinstalled every time the rear end is serviced, and repeated cycles eventually round the drive recess or stretch the threads, at which point they no longer torque down properly. A screw that will not hold torque lets the hub creep, and creeping hubs mean rear alignment that drifts over the course of a race day.
These are direct replacements for the rear hub screws supplied in the RC12R6 kit, so they thread straight into the existing components with no modification. Replacing tired hardware during a rebuild is one of the cheapest ways to keep the rear end of the car tight and predictable.
