Description
The Team Associated ASC4729 Motor Mount holds the motor in the rear pod of the RC12R6 1/12-scale pan car. It clamps the motor can, sets its position relative to the spur gear, and provides the slotted adjustment you use to dial in gear mesh when changing pinions between heats.
The motor mount is a high-load, high-heat part. It takes the full torque reaction of the motor, absorbs impacts that reach the back of the car, and acts as a heat path away from the can. A mount with worn clamp faces or elongated adjustment slots lets the motor shift under power, which shows up as gear mesh that changes through a run, noisy transmission, and premature spur gear wear.
This is a direct replacement for the motor mount supplied in the RC12R6 kit. It uses the same mounting locations and existing hardware, so installation is a straight swap during a normal pod rebuild with no modification needed. A sensible spare to have on the shelf if you race the RC12R6 regularly.
