Description
The Team Associated ASC4726 Pivot Brace is a suspension component used on the RC10F6 and the RC12R6. It locates the suspension pivot and holds it rigid against the chassis, so the arms swing on a fixed axis instead of allowing the pivot point itself to move under cornering load.
On a pan car, geometry accuracy is everything. If the pivot brace has been bent in an impact or worn oversize after long use, the pivot gains play, camber and toe wander through the stroke, and the car develops steering feel that changes with the size of the bump or the load in the corner. Replacing the brace restores a fixed pivot location and brings the front end back to the numbers on your setup sheet.
This is a direct replacement for the pivot brace supplied in the RC10F6 and RC12R6 kits, using the same mounting pattern and existing hardware with no modification required. It is a common rebuild item after a hard hit, so keeping a spare in the pit box saves a race day.
