Description
The Team Associated ASC4721 Chassis Brace Set includes the left and right braces for the RC12R6 1/12-scale pan car. The braces stiffen the chassis along its length, controlling how much the plate twists and flexes as the car loads up in a corner and as the rear pod works against the chassis.
On a pan car, chassis flex is a tuning tool rather than a flaw, and these braces are a key part of how the RC12R6 manages it. Braces that have been bent in a crash or fatigued over a season change that flex characteristic unpredictably, so the car stops responding to setup changes the way your notes say it should. A matched left and right pair keeps the chassis symmetrical so the car behaves the same in both directions.
This set is a direct replacement for the braces supplied in the RC12R6 kit and mounts with the existing hardware, requiring no modification. Both the left and right brace are included, so a rebuild after a hard hit is a single part order rather than two.
